{Fashion Fix} Mommy Time

On Sunday I had a rare chance to get out of the house BY MYSELF (no husband or kids) to do some running around.
I can't even tell you how good it felt!!!

I first went to the mall, to find some summer clothes for Jaelyn.  My baby is leaving with Grandma on Wednesday for 10 days to visit family in Baltimore and spend some time down in Orlando at Disney World.  He's gonna have a blast, but I'm gonna miss him.

While at the mall, I decided to do a little browsing for myself.  Didn't find anything though, post prego body is just not ready for new clothes.  I rather wait another month or so, before doing any summer clothes shopping.

{Hot Skinny Vanilla Latte is a must during Mommy time}

After a few other stops, I ended up at Target.  {Love Target}
There were a few summer dresses that I spotted on the clearance rack so decided to give them a try.
No winners, but I did think to get a pic of myself since I haven't posted a progress pic of my weight loss.  Down 15lbs.

Gotta love Mommy Time!

{Fun Fix} Babies, and more babies.

I've been hiding a secret.

Yup, this Mommy of 2 adorable boys, one of which hasn't even turned 1 year yet, has another one baking.

We always knew 3 was our number, we just didn't think the last 2 would be so close together.  I was a bit shocked to find out I'm preggers b/c I'm still breastfeeding Avon and wasn't having a period.  Which means I don't even know when this all happened.
I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago and it determined I was somewhere around 12 weeks, currently I'm 3 1/2 months along.
Estimated Due Date: Jan 20, 2012

Saturday, I went to my nieces baby shower.  I didn't take my camera, well actually I did, but then realized the battery was dead, so I left in it the car.
Luckily before I left Jaelyn and I had a little photo shoot in the backyard.  He's been learning how to use the camera so I put him to work.

I love a strappy summer wedge.

{Fashion Fix} Grammy Hits

As promised, here are my Grammy Fashion Hits.
For me, these artists captured all that Grammy Night Fashion should be.  Fresh, Edgy and Sexy.

Ciera
She worked this look, like only few people can.
My only critique is the shoes. I think they
were a little too harsh.

Eva Longoria
She rocked the classic black and white, but freshened it up
with the soft lines and mini.

Jennifer Hudson
She looks amazing from head to toe.
I like how the shoes compliment the lines in the corset of the dress.

Julianne Hough
Prints are hard to pull off, but I think this print works.
Its fun and pretty with just enough edge1.

Adam Lambert
Sometimes, he can over do it, but this look is spot on for him.
It says "Rock Star" without saying
"I'm wearing yesterdays underwear and make up"

Kelly Osbourne
I'm diggin her new look. She's still working her own style,
just matured.
I like this soft, flirty dress on her.

Keri Hilson
This is a perfect look for the Grammys.
Nothing over done, but all the right elements in all the right places.
A mix of color, edge, bling and sexy.

Lenny Kravitz
He's a Grammy Vet and knows that his look works for him.

And now for my Best Dressed...

Drum
Roll
Please
.
.
.

Jenny from the Block
This is my "Best Look" b/c
it is exactly how I want J Lo to look at the Grammys:
In charge, confident, and sexy.

*side note: anywhere else this dress would be way too short.

Who was your "Best Dressed"?

{Fashion Fix} Grammy Misses

I love the fashion at the Grammys.
Of all the award shows, I think the Grammys is the one where the fashion is expected to be a bit edgier and hip.
Unfortunately, some artists either take that too far or don't take advantage of it at all.

Here are my Grammy fashion misses.

Jordin Sparks
This dress is just ugly. The pink lining... ugh.

Drake
Too much black, not enough edge.

Heidi Klum
I usually love her style but this was just no good.
The hair, the arm bands, the hang... no good.

Katy Perry
Looks like a cross between an angel, mermaid and shower curtain.

Kim K
Although, her hair and make up is fab, this look is played.

Lea Michele
I don't know if it's the pose or the dress, but she looks shapeless.
I'm just not feeling it.
\
Monica
This dress needs a better neckline, something that dips a bit.
The straight line across her shoulders makes it look like her head is resting on a shelf.

Nicki Minaj
Perfect example of going too far.
She looks like a damn fool.

Diddy
What a Dork.

Agree? Disagree?

Tell me what you think.

It wasn't all bad, I'll post my Grammy Fashion Hits tomorrow.
