Cute find, work, eats and a Giveaway.

Check out this cute apron I found while shopping yesterday. I needed one. Tired of splashing food all over me while cooking.

I had to work today. I work on-call at a hospital as a Monitor Tech. When I work day shift, I have to be at work at 7am so my mornings are usually a rush job. For a quick breakfast I had already prepared my cereal, grain and flax combo, so all I had to do was cut a nectarine and add yogurt. Some coffee for the road and a Fiber One toaster pastry for my first break.

For my lunch I made a garden salad at the salad bar in the cafeteria.

Romaine, spinach, carrots, olives, cucumbers, tomato, egg whites, cheddar and rf ranch.

I'm so thankful that my hospital's cafeteria serves healthy options, because they defintately have plenty of really bad options. Luckily, the layout is so that I don't even have to see the "no-no" foods.

When I got home from work, I had a big bowl of watermelon. Probably the best watermelon I've had all summer.

I have so much zucchini from my garden still.

So to use some of it up, I made some mini Chocolate Zucchini Bread. This stuff is so good. I make sure I give most of it away and what stays, gets cooled and freezed.
