Ever had a Chocolate Cherry Tomato?
Me either.
Until a few minutes ago.
This year I planted one in my garden and today I was able to pick a few along with some Sweet 100's and Yellow Pear.
No, they don't taste like chocolate. But wouldn't that be great, if we could just get down on these instead of a brick of chocolate?
I think it's safe to assume (w/o making an ass of u & me. Corny? I know.) that they were named after their deep color.
They do however taste like tomatoes, like a cherry tomato without the sweetness.
Would definately be great in a salad or even some salsa.
