5th Anniversary Dinner

On Friday, the Hubs took me out for a special Anniversary dinner. We decided on steaks at El Gaucho. They are said to have the best steaks in the greater Seattle area. We were soon to judge that for ourselves.


But first, we started with the crab cakes. Flaky outside, moist and meaty inside. Delish.


Following the crab cakes, we each had Caesar salads, prepared table side.

For dinner we had: 
CHATEAUBRIAND AND LOBSTER FOR TWO
16 oz filet mignon and 1/2 lb lobster
Plated table side with baked potatoes, grilled portabello mushrooms, asparagus, and roasted tomato.
The steal was all that we were expecting and more. Juicy, flavorful and tender. It was a ton of food, I could only finish about half. But well worth every bite.

At the end of the meal we were served the complimentary fruit and nut bowl with cheese and crackers. I had the grapes. They were the perfect sweet bite after the savory meal.
