Sweet Potato Fries.


I have yet to master making these fries. I've tried several different methods including coating them in egg whites before baking, but none of them ever really get that crispy bite that I love from real fries. Don't get me wrong though they still taste great and I love eating them.

  1. I find that if they are coated with a little EVOO, salt and pep etc…
    ...and roasted VERY high around 430-450 for 12-15 mins. I get that crunch on the outside and the creamy middle. Try it that way if you haven't already.
    I think the sugar from the sweet potato caramelizes and makes the crunch. YUMMO!

  2. Thanks for the suggestion Ro. I've been baking them at 400 but I'm going to try increasing the temp to 450.
