{Birthday Fix} Happy 6th to my first born.

I just want to start by saying, I can't believe I've been a Mom for 6 years already.  Where has the time gone?  It's amazing how fast life moves.

Jaelyn turned 6 on May 9th.  I'm still trying to get used to him growing up.  I feel as though he was just a toddler learning to walk and talk like yesterday.

I have to say though, he really is a good kid.  He's so sweet and loving, has great manners, a big imagination and it just a fun, happy little guy.

Since, Jaelyn spent spring break in Florida and we're going to Cancun in just a couple weeks, we decided to keep his birthday simple.

Dinner and Chuck E Cheese.

He chose Red Robins for dinner.

I love Red's.  I mean, who doesn't love a juicy burger and steak fries?

Of course, I wanted to cut down on some of the calories and carbs so instead of passing on the fries, I chose to pass on the bun.  I asked to have my burger bun-less and wrapped in lettuce.

It was delish and I didn't even miss the bun.

Avon was there too of course, but I couldn't get the pic to load.  Strange?

After din din, we headed over to Chuck E Cheese's (where a kid can be a kid).

We let the kiddos run wild and play, before we sang Happy Birthday, ate cake and opened gifts.

 

It was a simple, low key birthday, but Jaelyn had a good time and that's all that matters.

So proud of the little guy he is becoming.
